You've been framed...

Unfortunatelly to some, and fortunatelly to others, i have not extended my contract and, at least for now, will not be staying in Iran until the 20th of March 2011.
It was an April Fools' Day prank...I guess most of you will say that not funny.
Posting it on the 31st of March was my mistake. I thought it was 1st of April. Well, this is how time goes by here in Tabas. Sometimes you get lost.

Out of other news. My blog has gone even more international. It is now being read by my Iranian counterparts :) So please, let's have a big round of applause for Said and Hamidreza :)

Neverending story...

So it's decided. I've agreed on a contract extension and will be staying in Iran until 20.03.2011...
Wow, seems a really long time, but hope it goes by fast.
I got a promotion and a raise so I cannot moan.
It was a hard decision but... I hope I'll appreciate it in the future...We'll see...
The only thing I'll miss is you guys....

take care...and don't be mad...

Mister, Easter...

Easter, Easter and after Easter. Time goes by really fast here. It;s just been Christmas, New Year's Eve and now Easter.
Quite special days for most Poles but with limited resources here, we were unable to prepare a 2 day eating fest :) So we prepared a dinner on Sunday. Zurek, kabanosy, ham (not quite allowed in this country :) ). All looked quite nice and reminded it was Easter. We all sat at the same table, with our foreign work partners invited. The kitchen staff looked strangely at us as we were consuming the unmatched polish food.
New Year passed on unnoticed. Just another day. No party, no fireworks, no nothing. But I'll make up for it when I come back to Poland. So get ready... :) Of course that is after I come back from Thailand, where we'll rock and show them how to party (right? :) ).
Can't sleep at night. I have really strange dreams. Last night I was kind of possessed. I dreamt of myself being thrown around my room, screaming. Really strange.
And of course dreams of me fighting monster have come back. Haven't had them for a long time/ I'd rather have my dreams about vampires back, though being a medevial hero is also cool :) The thing is, how to interpret all this. Who are the monsters, who are my partnering heroes? :) I have some ideas but different people read this page, so I'll keep them to myself :)
Ah, I don't quite feel like writing today so it's the end. But do not weep, my dear fans (yeah, how many are there left?2,3? :) ), 'cause I'll be back. I'll hit like a sudden lighting, hurricane of fresh ideas, earthquake of jokes :)
khoda hafez..

Ho ho ho...Merry Christmas...

Yes, yes, yes. It's not a mistake neither have I gone mad. It's 25.12 in the Iranian calendar. So it's Christmas Day...
Unfortunatelly no presents, or day off.But two Christmases in a year is something and if I live till 24.12.2008, which I sincerely hope I will, I'll be seeing Father Christmas twice in 2008.Or at least european 2008 because...
It's 1386 in Iran...Battle of Grunwald is in 24 years. So not that far. But the Teutonic Knights are starting to be a problem out here :)
Anyways, New Year is in one week. It's one of the most important holidays here in IRI, so everything stops for about a week. And people celebrate the No Ruz.
In our camp there is a pond (would call it a pool had it been 4 feet deeper) with lamps around it. And we can even turn on a fountain :) So like a top class hotel it is. Really nice and will be excellent for a party spot :) Yeah, it's good you don't get punished for dreams...
Work's ok, sun's getting nastier, temperature rising, Tabas slowly turning into hell on earth :)
Merry Christmas everyone,
cheerio

What's a man, without a woman??

This is your day, though it's a big shame a lot of us cherrish you only today...You should be put on the piedestal everyday, worshipped, sung songs to, served delicious dishes and even accompanied while shopping (ok, this is too much :)).

What would be life without you?A stupid, meaningless, pointless and all day/night long party.Wait, this is good right? :))))))

You are the sense of our lives. Oh, and parties, mates and football are as well :) Just joking.

You know we love you. We ought to tell you that everyday but today is a good occassion to say that aloud. To all of you.
